What if, instead of spending our lives doing, doing, doing, performing, performing, performing, we spend more time exploring, asking, listening, experimenting, reflecting, striving and becoming?

Is it coincidence or are people put in our path for a reason?

I like to believe that there is something out there that is more than coincidence.

As you can imagine, my thirst for more grew.  There were more podcasts. There were books and research.  I was drawn to Deepak Chopra and intrigued about meditation.  Hoping to find an answer to my menopausal emotional rollercoaster, I took the Chopra Primordial Sound Meditation Class in 2018 and I noticed a difference after my first meditation.  I’ve had a daily meditation practice ever since.

I was shy about my new discovery.  I didn’t know what people would think.  I do know this…I believe meditation saved me…saved me from menopause, saved me from unwieldy emotions, saved me from myself.

I continued to be a student and researched more about meditation. I took additional courses through Chopra.  I then had an amazing opportunity to be come a Chopra certified teacher in meditation, yoga, and ayurveda as well as a wellness coach.  It has been a wonderful journey and I’m so grateful.  I want to share my knowledge and experience with others to help them also overcome life’s obstacles.

A Spot About Me

My daughter was entering 7th grade and I volunteered to be on the Parent Board.  The Parent Board consisted of about 8-10 parents that helped support school events and fundraising activities.  I walked into the school library to attend my first meeting and shortly after this very out-going (quite the opposite of me) woman enters the room, seems to know everyone, and sits beside me.  We had been previously acquainted, but never really had extensive discussion.  During the meeting she and I would chit chat and began talking about life’s challenges, she then turned to me and said, “Ginny, do you ever listen to Oprah’s podcast? It is called Super Soul.  You should give it a try.”  That podcast was the beginning of my journey to find better answers, to heal, to feel like I wasn’t the only to be feeling this way or that way.  My eyes were opened. That out-going woman and I are still dear friends to this day.
